We're back!!
Prague, Vienna and Nice are indescribably beautiful! It was a fantastic trip! Breath-taking sights aside, we (thank god) didn't have any mishaps, no amazing-race-run-for-your-lives experiences. Phew :)

The astronomical clock, a must-see in Prague! Every hour when the the minute hand strucks 12, the 12 apostles appear at the little windows and everyone gets amused by the bell-ringing skeleton. So much so that we watched it thrice heh.

Charles Bridge is not lit up at night, unlike the beeeautiful Chain Bridge in Budapest. You've got to enjoy the walk along this bridge in the day, with the lively presence of uncountable baskers, artists and craft stalls.

Over 600 years old, Charles Bridge is the oldest bridge in the city. Thirty statues of saints line the bridge. It seems like all roads lead to Charles Bridge, meaning all tourists seem to end up here at the same time each afternoon, making the bridge at times the place NOT to be if you have an aversion to crowds not to mention a dream to pickpockets. But early morning or in the evening the bridge can be a magical place to visit. We spent a couple of hours standing near the bridge one evening, waiting for the sun to set to try and take that elusive night shot of the bridge. Restaurants and Prague hotels which are situated close to this bridge is the most expensive in the city. Day & night, from far away or on top of it this bridge looks great and is car free. Yet best to cross it as early as possible unless you want to warm up in a tourist crowd. Do you recognize the scenes of Mission Impossible shot here?
You had such a wonderful trip! I was only in Czech Republic and Prague impressed me by its beauty! Step into the Old Town Square in Prague and journey back in time, 600 or 700 years. As you stand in awe, the dramatic history of Prague permeates the air. It is a popular part of town for both Czechs and visitors from abroad and offers plenty of Prague restaurants, pubs, shops, entertainment, galleries and museums. There are beautiful pastel-coloured buildings of Romanesque or Gothic origin with fascinating signs. Some of the most prominent examples include the Kinsky Palace, the House of the Stone Bell and the Storch House. If you fancy a horse drawn carriage ride at twilight through streets, Old Town Prague is the place for you.
